We’ve been on a hunt for a traditional Italian Almond Torte recipe, but none of them could measure up to our standards. Finally, after blending several recipes and making our own organic almond paste, pastry crust and cake, WE DID IT!
Our Italian Almond Torte is dense and buttery, not overly sweet, absolutely moist and tender, with a touch of raspberry, hint of orange and full of almond flavor.
As always, White Barn uses whole wheat flour, fresh home made almond paste, our farm fresh eggs, organic sugar and butter, orange zest and organic raspberry preserves.
